We know how busy life is. Women have many roles and finding time to care for their own health can be challenging. Dan's Women’s Health Services offer a simplified, no appointment needed, low cost solution for common health issues that affect women. Dan's Pharmacies offer consultation and prescription services for hormonal contraception (birth control), uncomplicated urinary tract and vaginal yeast infections.

Birth Control Law / Recent change to legislation / Utah Hormonal Contraceptive Law

The role of pharmacists in Utah continues to expand. Utah passed the Utah Hormonal Contraceptive Law, Family Planning Access Act Utah Code 26-64-104 which authorizes pharmacists to write and dispense birth control prescriptions to female patients 18 years and older.

Pharmacist Training

Beyond the extensive training required to become a pharmacist, each of Dan's Pharmacists has undergone additional training to provide these clinical services. Dan's Pharmacists are required to complete nationally accredited Certification Programs and demonstrate knowledge of clinical practice recommendations prior to providing any of the Women’s Health Clinical Services.
